Multiple Sun Salutes FREE Class Series.       This once monthly class offered the last Sunday of each month at 4pm  will begin Sunday Sept 25th. The Sunday we practice the multiple sun salutes, our 4pm Vigorous Flow class is cancelled.
We will start the first Sunday with 36 Sun Salute A's.  All familiar with Sun Salute A are welcome to join us as we build community through our shared practice.  If this is your first experience with the practice of multiple sun salutes, please remember just as in ALL classes that we offer at the studio, listening to your body and stopping to rest in Child's Pose as needed is perfectly acceptable. The last Sunday of each month we will add 9 sun salutes to the series until we have reached 108 Sun Salute A's.  Although not required to committ to all the Sunday sessions, you are encouraged to attend them all.  We will limit the class to as many people as we can comfortably fit in the studio.  There will be cueing for the first 5 sun salutes, but after those, we willl all follow our breath as we practice together as a group. Yoga Synergy, beginning yoga -   A great place to begin your yoga journey or to give yourself the opportunity to focus on a particular part of your anatomy that may need some special attention. 
This 60 minute class focuses primarily on critical areas of the physcial body which may impede the smooth flow of energy or movement,  Each class begins with breathing, centering and asana to warm  the body.  We will focus on a different area in each class. Students are encouraged to direct their attention to these areas.
Modifications will be offered to ensure each student can find the fullest expression of the postures without pain.

Gentler Flow Yoga- 60-75 minutes similar in content to Powerful Flow with much less intensity.  Both classes focus on breath to link postures.  Suited for the Yogi new to the flow.

Slow Flow Yoga 60  minute Friday noon class will move slowly and mindfully with longer deeper holds to help facilitate stretching our connective tissue and relaxing our minds.

Vinyasa Flow- moderate level  60 minutes of yoga that flows with breath.  A little less intense than Vigorous Vinyasa Flow  more challenging than Gentler Flow.   Suitable for all, however, those less practiced may want to attend this class before moving onto Vigorous Vinyasa Flow.

Vigorous Vinyasa Flow-Come with an open heart and mind to experience 75 minutes of yoga that flows with breath. More intense than Moderate Vinyasa but less challenging than Power Flow. .

Powerful Flow Yoga- 75 minutes of vigorous flow yoga, the physical postures (asanas) are linked by Sun Salutations.   The first 55-60 minutes of class will focus on standing postures followed by advanced postures including inversions, arm balances, bandhas, deep back bends, one-legged balance postures and more.  This class will aid in toning and sculpting the muscles of your body, while helping to create peace of mind enabling your heart light to shine!  This is a physically vigorous class creating strength and flexibility! Come prepared to work!
Hot Power Flow Yoga  Power Flow with the room heated to 85 degrees!  Come prepared to work and sweat! 

Yogi’s Choice-  A class offering a variety of postures-- balancing strength and flexibility.  It's yoga pot luck!.

Private/Semi-private yoga lessons -Provide an opportunity for beginners to experience yoga individually, for well-practiced students to focus on specific aspects of their practice, or for anyone to treat themselves to the luxury of one-on-one or small-group instruction. These lessons are designed to cater to specific time slots, needs and  the freedom of choosing to come to the studio or we can bring the studio to you.  Contact us for fee schedule.. 
Corporate/Group Lessons
Available onsite or at a location you provide.  There must be a minimum of five participants.  Price structure based on the number of participants.  Lessons will be customized to suit your group's needs.

All classes offered at Village Yoga Studio are open to students at any level in their practice.  These descriptions are simply a guide line.  It is our intention at Village Yoga Studio to offer a safe welcoming space to practice Yoga asana. Instruction, guidance and hands-on assistance will provide students the opportunity to develop a practice that suits their constantly changing needs.
Recognizing that each time we practice we are  beginners will provide limitless opportunities
for growth on and off the mat.
